Ann Coulter endorses Hillary Clinton!

Below, Ann -If Republicans Had Any Brains They'd Dump Me- Coulter at her finest, when on last night's Shammity and Colmes she endorsed Hillary Clinton over John McCain. Watch it, it's hilarious...

More commentary on this flap from Newshounds. If I ever called for Ann to shut that cake hole, I take it back now. Keep'm coming, Ann!

I gotta say it...although I am not, nor ever have been a fan of Ann Coulter, and being a dyed in the wool hard line Conservative Republican... there is an element of agreement on my part as to her rant....

I don't liike McCain, and considering his Military history, I consider him somewhat of a traitor to this countries traditional value's...

Coulter could care less about conservatives or the Republican party. The only thing she is looking out for is her own checkbook. Think about it. If Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, she and the rest of the Right Wing Hate Machine (Limbaugh, Hannity, et. al.) are guaranteed lucrative employment for at least another four years. If John McCain wins, they all become irrelevant and will have to sit on the sidelines for at least four years.

Of course she’s going to vote for Mrs. Clinton. Unlike most Republicans, she knows how to vote in her best economic interest.

I'll be in touch very shortly.

I think Coulter supporting Clinton, is the long term effect of Karl Rove's genius.

Well, I hope more conservatives will think like Coulter on this issue. They'll be very wrong about Clinton being more conservative than McCain, but it will get the result I want - President Hillary Clinton. Even with a Romney nomination, evangelical bigotry towards Mormons may help Clinton.

Of course, Clinton has to win the nomination first.

and Manu, that will only happen in your wildest dreams cause O(b)ama is a-winning the Democratic nomination. By the way: you live in Israel. You made Aliya. Out of curiousity may I ask why you did this? You seem to have all the love in the world for Jew-hating liberals and far-left Israeli politicians so why go to Israel. I mean I understand the sabarim that were born there but you...

I hope you're wrong about Obama. I don't like him. The race is still way too close to tell who will win the nomination.

I was born in Israel and I have US citizenship through my parents.

It's funny how the radical right wing finds me to be a bleeding heart dove, while radical pro-Palestinians find me hawkish. I guess my sane form of Zionism just pisses off the fringes on both sides.

C'mon Eitan, cut the "Jew-hating liberals" crap...

Manu(can I call you that?): I got you. So you're a sabar. That explains a lot of your views. Thing is, most American born Jews who make Aliya are a lot more right-wing. As far as both sides labling you whatever suits their respective needs, I'm familiar with that.

Gert: you wouldn't agree that many liberals are Jew-hating? That this is in fact because of their liberal views?

You're pulling my leg, right?

The idea that liberal ideas somehow leads to "Jew hating" is too absurd to entertain and a form of prejudice bordering on slander.

Allow me also to remind you that for much of its existence Israel was fervently supported by the European left and that many early Zionists were in fact recruited from European leftist cadres.

Eitan: Manu kind of reminds me of manure, but hey, call me whatever you'd like.

Considering the fact that most Jews, at least in the States, are liberal, it is very odd to say that liberals hate Jews or hate Israel.

Yes, a lot of the Americans who made aliya in the last couple of decades tend to be right-wingers, but that isn't really the case with those who came in the 60's and 70's. There's more diversity in that generation. Looking at my own family, I don't see much of a difference in views between the tsabarim and the "olim vatikim". I know a lot of American-born Jewish Israeli liberals, some of them even really bleeding heart.

Gert: I will repeat what I wrote before in case you weren't paying attention:

"you wouldn't agree that many liberals are Jew-hating? That this is in fact because of their liberal views?"

I'm asking you whether you agree or not that many in the far left are fervently pro-Palestinian and hence, anti-Israeli. Granted I should choose my wording more wisely(I meant anti-Israeli rather than anti-Semitic).

As far as me slandering, you're the one pulling my leg(we're doing a lot of leg-pulling, ey!?). How many times have you said negative things about "neo-cons"?

Manu: Ok I get it...you don't currently live in Israel. You were just born there and have citizenship (hence the "Manu" misunderstanding).

Eitan: No, I do live in Israel. I didn't say anything suggesting otherwise (and yes, I'm writing this at 2 a.m., in case it is the late hour that made you think I'm in the States).

I've never heard of Manu as a nickname for Emmanuel. Maybe it is common among religious people. I've only heard of Menny and Nuli as short forms of the name. But then again, I never really paid attention since Emmanuel is just an alias.

Indeed there is a lot of anti-Israeli sentiment on the far left. Most liberals, though, are moderate and many of them pro-Israel.

Wow Manu, you're up at 2am...What's in the news this time of night? I heard Maccabi fired the coach(I forgot his name though I know, I know...I'm a Macabbi fan and he's an Israeli b-ball legend) How's Betar doing this year? I miss Israel!

Katash being fired (or resigning, as the Maccabi folks claim) is old news by now. It happened a few weeks ago and ever since Shlomo Sharf took over they've been winning every game. I have no idea how Betar are doing. Since I'm not a football fan the only thing I hear about them is Guydamak's antics.

Sorry Gert for this way OT post...

"I'm asking you whether you agree or not that many in the far left are fervently pro-Palestinian and hence, anti-Israeli. Granted I should choose my wording more wisely(I meant anti-Israeli rather than anti-Semitic)."

When previously you confused (or conflated) criticism of certain foreign policies of Israel with "Jew-hating" (i.e. anti-Semitism), you're now confusing (or conflating) "pro-Palestinian" with "anti-Israel". The majority of liberals of which you are so critical of are in favour of a Two-State solution. That doesn't make them particularly "pro-Palestinian" or "anti-Israel". It's the excessive use of very poorly defined, sloganesque, lazy and Manichean terms like "pro-this" or "anti-that" that leads to polarised thinking ("if you're not with us, you're against us").

It's also a very dirty smearing tactic of the US Far Right to call anyone who may be in favour of a Two-State solution an anti-Semite. For this alone these whackjobs have lost all credibility in my eyes, as have also those on the Ultra Far Left that compare Israel to the Nazis.

"As far as me slandering, you're the one pulling my leg(we're doing a lot of leg-pulling, ey!?). How many times have you said negative things about "neo-cons"?"

The Neoconservative movement has nothing to do with this discussion. The Neocon ideal (spreading Liberty and fighting totalitarianism) was a noble idea that went badly wrong and bit the dust in the sands of Iraq. Many prominent neocons (see e.g. Richard Perle) accept that. The concept needs a serious re-think, to say the least.

Emm:

This is a free speech zone. Sport is probably a first on these pages but there's a first time for everything I guess...

Manu: so when(and where)is the Final Four? What place is Maccabi in? Who is Katash coaching? Why did the Katash era turn into the Katash nightmare? Please update me. My email address is: enigman81@hotmail.com but if you give me yours I'll just send you the questions I have (also regarding Betar and Macabbi Haifa) altogether.
