Remembering Sabra and Shatilah...

16 September 1982 (dubbed also 9/16) marked the start of the massacre of hundreds of Palestinian refugees in the Beirut camps of Sabra and Shatilah, an atrocity lasting for two days.

Here's what the BBC wrote about the 20th anniversary of the massacres. We're now five years on and little has changed. There will be no worldwide outpouring of grief or commiseration with the survivors and their relatives.
